Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art will present “Somewhere In a Dream I Got Lost: Works by Lonnie Holley” Dec. 13-May 18.
Holley is a multi-faceted, self-taught visual and music artist. The exhibition will feature found-art sculptures, works on paper, steel sculptures and a selection of music from Holley’s three albums.
Since 1979, he has practiced improvisational creativity. His art and music, born of struggle, hardship and furious curiosity, has manifested in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, performance and sound .
